Elope to Connemara

Every couple we work with is important. Annie and Matt, however, were a bit of a special case to us. Firstly, although we have done lots of elopements with Aislinn Events, she was the first to book us under Elope to Ireland. Not only that, they had never had a proper getaway or vacation together and certainly not ever been out of America much less to Ireland. So it was also a big trip, a bit commitment and a lot of pressure {for us too} because for the first time ever for this trip to marry Matt, Annie left her young daughter as well as her younger sister who has been in her charge since their parents passed away when they were younger. Ooh, and she had to leave her dogs too. With Matt by her side as always, they came to Ireland on their own to elope to Connemara,

All-day on her wedding day had messages going back and forth to her sister and daughter with little sneak peeks of her hair, makeup, bouquet, everything.

They chose a fabulous location and one of my favourite places in the country, Connemara and Delphi Lodge specifically who were wonderful.

I dragged her away from Matt long enough to get her hair and makeup done at Bliss Salon in Louisberg and, well, you can see the rest here as seen through the lens of the wonderful Aoife Herriott.

 

Annie’s bouquet turned out stunning and was picked, gathered and arranged by Danielle at Village flowers in Moycullen.

Annie picked up Matt’s waistcoat from Etsy. I thought it was a great style.

 

Love this elopement! And so very happy for Annie and Matt.
