 A Rustic elopement from Essex to Wicklow

Kirsty and Michael are a kind couple with lots of friends and family but you know what? They still eloped just the two of them! They immediately chose to marry in Co Wicklow because not only was it convenient for them to get to fly in from Essex in Britain, but they wanted somewhere green, rustic and outdoors. Knowing the outdoors part was weather dependent they chose Ballybeg House because of the rustic stone ceremony room. 

 

Getting ready was a relaxed morning with lots of video calls home, chats and giggles. A bottle of sparkling wine showing up for the couple from a friend from home too! Hair was by Rowena Green from Vintage Glamour in Arklow.

Flowers came by way of Mags at  Daisy Floral Creations .

We know everything was in the capable hands of Eileen Morris as the officiant for the ceremony.

After an emotional and romantic ceremony, the couple happily wandered the beautiful grounds and relaxed in the very rustic bar at Ballybeg. It was certainly the perfect day for them.

The elopement itself was typically Irish and changeable with the weather. Foggy and romantic at first so we did have their ceremony inside however it cleared up nicely later in the afternoon as you will see in the images by Danielle O’Hora.

We would like to Kirsty and Mike for letting us share there special day and we wish them all the best in their future.
